How Parents Can Help

Parents can help us in a number of ways:-

•             You can take part in the events which FOSH stages throughout the year – (see Forthcoming FOSH Events). Volunteers are always welcome.

•             You can become a committee member, to get in touch please email or speak to one of the FOSH Officers.

•             You can take part in the FOSH 200 - download application form here or speak to your FOSH representative.

For an annual payment of £20 per entry, you can become a FOSH 200 member.

Your name will be entered into two draws.  One draw takes place in the New Year and the other is at the Junior School Sports Day.  You then have a chance of winning a cash prize.  Half of the money collected goes to FOSH funds and the other half is given as several cash prizes ranging from £110-£400.  The more members we have the larger the cash prizes and donation to FOSH.

For example, if we collect £2,000 in a particular year, then FOSH receives £1,000 and £1,000 is given out as prize money.  You do not have to be a parent to join; some members are grandparents and past pupils.

•             You can be part of our Corporate Sponsorship Programme.

This involves sponsoring an event in school or a piece of equipment as well as advertising in one of our own publications.  For more information please contact Taryn Sanders by email on

•             You can raise money by shopping online at
