Awards at the Sheffield Young Painters of the Year Competition!

Every one of the twenty-six students’ art work entered by Sheffield High School into the Sheffield Young Painters of the Year Competition were all successful in getting into this large exhibition. We also secured a winner and two runners up!
The prize giving event was held at Ponds Forge resulting in a lot of interest from the press and public. The Lord Mayor of Sheffield awarded the prizes to our following students:
Winner – Alison Andrew – silver plaque for the school and a bronze plaque for herself.
Runners up – Jessica Dale and Elizabeth Ann Warden both won a bronze plaque.
Congratulations to all the girls who were so successful in this City wide competition!
