England Selection for Natalie

Natalie Chan Lam for England!

Well done to Natalie Chan-Lam, a Year 8 pupil at Sheffield High School, who from 18-22 March will be competing in Belgium as a part of the England Under 13 Badminton squad.

Having participated in a series of school matches and regional tournaments since taking up Badminton two years ago, Natalie was selected for the England team on the basis of her prior results and her performance during a number of training days. Earlier in the year, Natalie also achieved first place in an English Schools’ Badminton Association competition for players under the age of eleven. She said:
“I am really excited about playing for England. My favourite things about Badminton are the training and the social side and I am looking forward to meeting lots of different people when I go abroad.”
