Fab Four so close to glory in National Championships
Fab Four get Silver!
It was so close for Sheffield High School’s fast-rising badminton quartet in the country’s top competition.
The fab four of Natalie Chan-Lam, Hollie Watson, Stephanie Twomey and Charlotte Atkin finished runners-up in the Badminton England National Inter-Schools Championships in Derby, their best ever performance.
They won all their group games to qualify for the final against the other group winners Robert May’s School Hampshire. The match was won by Robert May in a nail biting 21-20 doubles game as the other score from the other games was level. National Silver medals is fantastic… but to be so close…. Good luck from us all for next year!
