Head girl trio at Sheffield High School
Our new head girl team!
The new head girl team have started their new roles at Sheffield High School in style, raising the bar as role models in their various chosen fields.
Eleanor Bermingham, the new Sheffield High School Head Girl, is studying French, Italian, Politics and Chemistry and is eager to further her linguistic skills at University. Not only has she a flair for languages, but she also is a talented performer on the stage. Eleanor has recently taken her Grade 8 Acting and Verse & Prose examinations and is currently performing in a dancing show with the Sharon Berry School of Dance.
Jordan Keogh is not only the deputy head girl but she is also the netball captain at Sheffield High School. Jordan also has a flair for the stage and she was one of the lead roles in Pirates of Penzance in last year’s school performance. Jordan has been the Managing Director of our highly successful Young Enterprise company ‘Wirewear’ who were Regional Finalists in June.
Katherine Wensley also has sporting links as she is deputy head girl and school tennis captain and she recently brought back the GDST Tennis Trophy with her school team. Katherine plays both hockey and netball in the winter and has recently been selected for the JRPC the Junior Regional Performance Centre in hockey. Katherine is looking to study medicine at University.
The girls were voted in by their peers and endorsed by the staff as the head girl team for 2010-2011 where their duties will include presenting speeches at a range of events, co-ordinating their prefect team and motivating the School in a variety of events.
