SHS in the News
Making music everywhere!
SHS at Kelham Island
Girls from Sheffield High were entertaining out and about in the community at so many different events last month.
Not only did we have the annual full Band Concert in school, but we also had the Senior and Spaghetti strings groups, the Sixth Form Choir, the Chamber Choir, the Junior recorder group and the Junior School Choir performing as part of the Carol Service at Ranmoor Church. The Year 4 Choir sang at the Sheffield Ski Village (in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice) and our Year 6 girls sang to residents of Lifestyle House and Broomgrove Nursing Home.
Our Sixth Form Choir, in partnership with Birkdale, sang at Whirlow Farm and the Chamber Choir enchanted the audience at the Carol Concert in aid of ‘Lost Chord’ at the Sheffield Cathedral.
