FOSH Ball 2012

This will take place at the Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield on Saturday 24 March 2012. For more details, please click here. If you are interested in advertising in the Spring Ball Programme, costs are £95 for a full page and £55 for a half page. Please contact Joanne Wilson if you are interested.

Bagz2School

This is always a good fund-raiser (we’ve raised £478 so far this year) including £270 made during the collection on Wednesday 4 May 2011. The next Bagz2School collection will be on 10 May 2012. Other bags can also be used if you fill the one you receive from School. It’s the weight that counts so old towels, curtains, shoes will be gratefully accepted!!

Would you like to join the FOSH Committee?

The FOSH Committee is keen to recruit new members and if you’re interested in joining us, please contact Mrs Dunsford or Mrs Jones via either of the School Offices. From September 2011 we will have vacancies for representatives from Years 9, 10 and 12. The Committee meets one evening each term to plan forthcoming events and all it takes overall is a couple of hours 3 times a year helping out at FOSH events if you have the time.

Funds Raised at Recent Events

• The FOSH Spring Ball raised £2615 in 2010 – an excellent result in the current climate. Thanks to all involved in the organisation of the evening and to those who attended.

• The sale of tea towels in Melbourne House raised a fantastic £1,187!

• Yellow Moon raised £62.91. Order at any time of the year for FOSH to benefit at Yellow Moon

• The Craft Fayre was as usual very popular both with girls and parents and proved to be an excellent fundraiser, raising over £1,404. A huge thank you to everyone who helped both leading up to the event and on the day itself.

• Northbrook Christmas Wrapping Paper Our annual Northbrook wrapping paper sale was well supported once again and raised £424. Orders can be taken throughout the year at Northbrook Wraps
