Olympics: London 2012 @ Sheffield High
Sheffield High School will be celebrating the London 2012 Olympics throughout this school year, culminating in an ‘Olympic Week’‘ including our own Sports Day, towards the end of the summer term.
Many events are still in the planning stage and events include an International Concert with a celebration of music from around the world.
Form groups in school have been linked with various countries throughout the world and many of our teaching subjects will be staging their own individual Olympic themes during the year.
The penultimate week of the summer term is earmarked for our ‘Olympics Week‘ and will feature an Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Olympic-themed activities in lessons.
