Our Badminton Young Officials in action
Our Badminton Young Officials
On the 14 March, Cleo Pollard, Charlotte Atkin and Sophie O’Reilly were invited by Badminton England to officiate at the BUCS championships at the EIS in Sheffield. It was an exciting, worthwhile experience and a great way of putting into practice what they learned when taking part in the Badminton Young Official’s Award on 6 February.
The Badminton Young Officials course was set up by Mrs Good and run at Sheffield High School this term for our pupils who had shown an interest not only in playing badminton but also in being able to give back to the sport.
