Sheffield High Juniors Win AGAIN! U10 and now U11 Champions!!
Year 6 Netball with their medals!
Following the success in the Under 10 Netball Tournament, the Sheffield High Under 11’s have also become City Champions!
Sheffield High Junior School hosted the Under 11 SFSS City Netball Tournament on Saturday 27 February for the Year 6 girls from across the City. All three of the Sheffield High teams got through to the knock out stages and two teams progressed to the semi finals! The A team played a thrilling match against Westbourne in the final, with a penalty being the last throw of ordinary time to level the game 1-1. After extra time, the game was still square, so ‘golden goal’ rules came into play where the next team to score wins! This exhilarating match was finally won by Sheffield High Under 11 equalling the Year 5 team who won the U10 netball title earlier in the month!
