Young Athenian Award Winners! Congratulations to Sheffield High School pupils Ellie and Sophie Waring who are celebrating after being granted Young Athenian awards for the work that they do for Phase, a charity which is based in Wickersley, Rotherham. The two sisters, who are aged 12 and 13, attended the Young Athenian awards ceremony on March 7 at the Hellaby Hall Hotel and, alongside 13 other young people aged 18 or under, they were honoured for the positive contribution that they make to the lives of others. 23 May 2008 Read more...

Every one of the twenty-six students’ art work entered by Sheffield High School into the Sheffield Young Painters of the Year Competition were all successful in getting into this large exhibition. Half Marathon Team! On a very wet Sunday morning, a team of nine Sheffield High School sixth-formers, parents and staff all successfully completed the Sheffield Half Marathon 2008 and they are now on their way to raising £1000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Macmillan Nurses. 15 May 2008 Read more...
