Y6 after the Sport Relief Aerobics!
To celebrate the 132nd birthday of Sheffield High School last week we held a mass aerobics session at lunch time where the girls wore their Sport Relief Socks!
100 pairs of official Sport Relief socks were bought by the girls which gave them free entry to the mass aerobics session and those that chose to wear their own funky socks paid a £1 entry fee! Visiting aerobics instructor Rich Hawke enthused the girls aged 10 to more ‘mature’ staff with his lively routines!
Yesterday was the big Mum v Daughter Netball Challenge where the Year 7 girls aged 11 or 12 took on their mums! Spectators were asked to donate as they watched. The score was a diplomatic draw! Saved arguments over the tea table!
The school is sending over £250 for Sport relief from these two events.
