Tumbling Talents
Gymnastics trio performing at the Movement Evening
Sheffield High School have bounced their way to the National Trampolining Finals in three team and two individual competition categories!
Both of the SHS under 19 open and closed trampolining teams achieved first places and the under 15 team was placed second in the North Zone Championships. All three teams and two individual finalists; Morgan Sykes and Thalia Caddy have also qualified for the tough ordeal of competing in the National Schools Championships on March 8th in Birmingham.
Two gymnastic teams also attended the Regional Group, Floor and Vault Championships on Saturday 7th February at the EIS. The under 19 team placed second closely missing out on the National Finals and the under 13 team placed third.
Excellence has persisted to shine through at a recent movement evening where over 400 girls displayed a show of vibranct energy and ore with a wide arrange of gymnastic, trampolining and dance expertise. We wish the trampolining teams the best of luck in their forthcoming events!
