Welcome Evening for New Y7-Y9 Parents - Wednesday 23 September
We would like to remind new parents about our Welcome Evening events in school on Wednesday 23 September, starting at 7.00pm.
The Senior School event will be in the Main School Hall and is for parents of new girls in Y7-Y9. The Junior Department event will be in the Junior School Hall and is for all new parents and all Y3 parents.
Senior School Event
The Senior School event provides an opportunity to learn about the school’s pastoral care system, the Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) programme, how P.E. and sporting opportunities are recognised and the availability of the many different musical opportunities.
New parents can also meet several key staff responsible for their daughter’s education at Sheffield High and will be able to ask them any questions that they may have at this stage.
Part of the evening is an introduction to FOSH, our parents’ association, who will be providing drinks and nibbles. The evening will also enable new parents to see the School again and meet and get to know other new parents. Daughters are not expected to attend.
