The school curriculum at Sheffield Girls’ differs from the state school curriculum through its breadth, flexibility, and focus on value-added achievements. While all schools adhere to core National Curriculum requirements for subjects like English, Maths, and Science, our independent status allows us to enhance the educational experience in several key areas including careers support, academic enrichment character education and a diverse subject offering, ensuring every girl receives an exceptional education.

Our bespoke Sixth Form programme includes specialist A Level teaching, alongside the highly valued Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which develops essential university-level research skills, and Platinum Career Mark-accredited careers support. All students benefit from dedicated, one-to-one UCAS and careers mentoring, including tailored preparation for Oxbridge and competitive courses like Medicine, resulting in a significantly high percentage of our leavers securing places at top Russell Group institutions.
