Applying to join Sheffield Girls’ is simple and straightforward.

Reception
Step 1 - Visit Us
We are always happy to welcome visitors to the Infant and Junior School, whether at an Open Event or by appointment for a personal tour when you will be able to have a one to one meeting with the Head of Infant and Junior School, Miss Emily Green.

If you wish to apply for a place for your daughter, please complete the application form.
A registration fee of £50 is payable on application. This fee is non-refundable.

Step 3 - Offers and Acceptance
Once we have made a formal offer for your daughter in Reception, we will ask you to complete our acceptance documentation to secure your daughter’s place with us and to make a £300 deposit payment. The deposit will be refunded to you when your daughter leaves the school.

Step 4 - Taster Sessions
There are opportunities for your daughter to attend Connect and Create sessions prior to her joining the school to enable her to familiarise herself with the school, girls and teachers.

Step 3 - Assessment and Taster Days
Girls are invited to spend a taster day with us, in a class with girls of their own age, during which time they will be assessed in English, Mathematics and Reading.
We offer places following the successful completion of our assessments. Further visits are arranged for the Summer Term, when your daughter will meet her class and her new teacher.
