Step 3 - Assessment and Taster Days
Girls join our Sixth Form from a wide range of schools. We invite prospective students to attend our Sixth Form Scholarship Exam and Taster Day to experience life in our Sixth Form as well as meet with the Heads of Department of the subjects that they wish to study.
New entrants to the Sixth Form are expected to achieve at least 7 GCSEs including English and Mathematics, at grade 4 or above, with grade 6 or above in her chosen A Level subjects. If her chosen A Level subjects include Maths or a Science, she will be expected to achieve a grade 7 or above for that subject. Details of our A Level options and specific entry requirements are available in our Sixth Form Options booklet.
We ask for a copy of a recent report from your daughter’s present school when available. We make formal offers of a place in February for the following September intake, subject to your daughter’s final GCSE results.
For those looking to visit us and apply after February, we are pleased to make individual arrangements for visits to the Sixth Form and entrance assessment throughout the year to meet your needs.
