Best Year 12 Young Enterprise team in Yorkshire!

Our Lower Sixth Form Year 12 Young Enterprise team have been cooking up a storm with their ‘Around the World Cookbook’ this year! The team, named Palate, created an ‘Around the World Cookbook’.

Following on from their initial success in the Young Enterprise Competition in March, where they came runner up in the Social Media Impact category, they were successful again in May, when they competed against other teams in the county to win the Best Company award, along with awards for Best Company Presentation and Best Social, Ethical and Environmental Company at the Young Enterprise South Yorkshire County Finals.

Our team then went forward to the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Finals in June, where they came away as Yorkshire & Humber regional winners and were crowned best Young Enterprise team in Yorkshire!

Congratulations to the Year 12 team of Charlotte Wainwright,  Masha Novikova, Zo Chilengwe, Sophie Bates, Katie White, Jess Holtum, Laura Smith, Harriet Simpson, Saskia Smith, Lily Kenworthy, Amelia Finn, Sam Gulzar, Michelle Pun, Joyce Wang, Fariyah Khalid, Grace Dobbs and Amira Fadoul.

Charlotte Wainwright said: ‘We are so proud that using social media, we have managed to create a large, loyal following for our ‘Around the World’ cookbook, spread across six time zones, and we were delighted to win the Best Business Award’
