Foreign Language Spelling Bee Regional Finals
After practising with the girls over many months, our amazing language assistants Susanne, Elsa and Charlotte accompanied three Year 7 girls, Elizabeth Chung, Adithi Ravishankar and Rebecca Surafel to the regional final of the Foreign Language Spelling Bee competition at Beckfoot school in Bradford in May.
Huge congratulations go to Rebecca who qualified for the national finals and will go on to represent the region in the German section of the competition. Well done also to Elizabeth and Adithi, who did extremely well in French and Spanish respectively, but did not quite make it to the national stage.
Susanne said: ‘We had a very nice time in Bradford and all the girls did their very best. They were very ambitious and enjoyed being part of a competition.’
