This week, our incredibly talented Senior School cast dazzled audiences in the Senior Hall with three unforgettable performances of Legally Blonde Jr.

Sheffield Girls’ GDST is celebrating another landmark achievement after being named the Independent Secondary School of the Year in the North 2026 in the Sunday Times Parent Power School Guide.

Our Class of 2025 Year 11 cohort have always been a particularly musical bunch, and we are delighted to share the highlights from some of our girls who have successfully balanced their studies with participation in co-curricular music.

Our Year 11 cohort have been celebrating their incredible GCSE results this week, and our sporting stars have had great success, with 92% of GCSE PE grades awarded at 7 to 9. 

We could not be prouder of our students for displaying such resilience and determination in achieving phenomenal GCSE results - which are some of the best in the school’s history.

On Wednesday 21st May, a team of four pupils visited London to take part in the Grand Final of the National Reading Champions Quiz 2025 and achieved an amazing 3rd place finish!
