We are delighted to announce that Sheffield Girls’ GDST has successfully maintained its Platinum Careers Mark status following a rigorous external assessment in March 2026. This achievement reaffirms our position as a national leader in careers education, remaining one of the only schools in the country, and the only one in our region, to hold this elite accreditation.
The assessment, conducted by Complete-Careers, recognised the “quality and breadth” of our provision, noting that our careers programme fully incorporates all eight Gatsby Benchmarks. This status is only awarded to institutions that demonstrate an exceptional long-term commitment to a high-quality, externally validated careers programme.

Our journey to Platinum has been built on a foundation of continuous improvement. Having originally achieved this landmark status as a pioneer in the North of England, this latest reaccreditation confirms that our careers support remains at the “Gold Standard” for our students.
