- Under-13 Yorkshire & Humberside team competition winners
- Under-13 Sheffield Federation for School Sports (SFSS) Singles Champions
- Under-13 SFSS Doubles Champions
- Under-14 SFSS Doubles Champions
- Under-16 Sheffield Champions
- Under-16 South Yorkshire Champions and they will next play in the Yorkshire round of the national schools competition
Hooriya aged 14 and Caitlin aged 12 were the Under-14 doubles pair who won all their games to take the City doubles title. “I really enjoyed playing with Caitlin, as it was the first time I was playing with her,” said Hooriya. “Even though we are two years apart in age, we co-ordinated well with one another. This was the first time that I had won a tournament,”, she added, “and the feeling was amazing. Three years ago I would have never imagined even playing badminton, but now it’s like an addictive hobby.”
