Twelfth Successive Year as National Trampolining Champions

Sheffield High School’s trampolinists have taken the school teams and individuals to national glory for the twelfth successive year!

The Under-15 and Under-19 teams retained the National Schools closed titles in Cannock recently with the Under-13s coming a close second under the excellent coaching of Liz Jones, Head of PE at Sheffield High.

Individually, Lulu Lorente Carr won the Under-13 title, Chloe Pryce came second in the Under-15 competition and Paige Winspear took third place in the Under-19 competition.

A very proud School Captain, Paige, said: “I can’t believe how well we did to get to nationals, for what is now the twelfth consecutive year, and to be national team champions for five years running is just amazing. It shows the strength, depth and lasting legacy of trampolining at Sheffield High. We are such a big, happy family – it’s all about training hard and playing hard together,” she added.
