As one of Sheffield’s leading Sixth Forms, our Sixth Formers leave Sheffield Girls’ armed with outstanding academic results and with a range of post-18 options available to them, including university, degree apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
A Level Results 2023 – 2025
Sheffield Girls’ celebrated an exceptional set of A Level results in Summer 2025, which are some of the highest in the School’s history.

Key statistics from 2025
- 13 students achieved at least three A*s, with one student achieving four A*s.
- 80% of students secured a place at their first choice university.
- 38 students – half the cohort – have achieved A* and A grades only.
- 72% of our leavers are studying at Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge.
- 11 of our students are studying Medicine.

As a Platinum Career Mark-accredited provider, our outstanding careers education ensures that students are informed and empowered about the options available to them beyond Sheffield Girls’. Not only does this include bespoke careers guidance, but also includes individualised support during Sixth Form to ensure girls choose the perfect post-18 pathway to support their ambitions.
Many of our Sixth Formers embark on university degree courses following their A Levels, and every year we have a number of students who elect to pursue degree apprenticeships, gap years and employment opportunities.
