Experiencing life in Tudor Times with Year 4

The Year 4 girls at Junior School have been learning all about the Tudors this half term, and in a fantastic finale to their Tudor topic, the staff and girls held a 'Tudor Banquet', where they dressed up in Tudor finery and invited parents to join in with Tudor dancing and singing, choreographed by Mrs Cooke and Mrs Dickson.

After leading their parents in the dance, the girls sang Greensleeves and did a Tudor quiz, with one team scoring 14 out of 14! Everyone then went to the canteen, where the girls had juice and biscuits and parents had coffee and cake, and then it was back into the classroom for parents to look at their daughter's books to see what they have been doing this term in other parts of the curriculum.
