News from the National Trampolining Finals Friday 17 March 2017
On Friday 17 March four Trampolining teams travelled to the National Finals in Newcastle. They had gone through two gruelling qualifying rounds at Regional (Yorkshire and Humberside) and then Zonal (North GB) to reach this stage. We upheld our excellent reputation in Trampolining with the following results:
Team Successes:
U19 Novice – National Champions – Teresa Willis, Jessica Wright, Emily Wyman, Anna Eason with our B team placing 2nd such is the strength and depth at this level – Jessica Holtum, Olivia Cooke, Eliza Yellops, Daisy Stuart-Turner
U 14 Novice – Won Silver – Lily Godbole, Sephora Ford, Lydia Campbell and Jessica Mowthorpe
U19 Inters – Placed 4th – Pippa Kelly, Mhairi Prentice, Rebecca Stoakley, Lucy Buchanan
Individual Awards:
Sephora Ford won U14 Novice National Crown
Teresa Willis placed 2nd in U19 Novice
U19 Elite – Sophie Akhavan-Hezaveh placed in the top 8
