SHS Golf Day 2019
On Friday 17th May we unwound after a long week with our SHS Golf Day at Hallamshire Golf Club, in support of Sheffield Children's Hospital and Charity and the Sheffield Girls' bursary fund. Competing teams enjoyed drinks and snacks provided by Hallamshire Halfway House, a putting competition and the stunning 18-hole course itself in the (almost) summer sun.
The winning team was the talented Proove Pizza with an unbelievable score of 88, followed by BHP and City Taxis. More success was had by Andy Hutchinson, who got a hole-in-one on the 9th, and alumna Jenny Renshaw, who got longest drive for ladies.
Competitors received some lovely prizes including a thrilling track day experience at Silverstone donated by Porsche Centre Sheffield, and tickets from The Village Green Events Co. for a screening at Peak Cavern.
Thank you to all the teams for a wonderful day out, to our sponsors Senior Architectural Systems, my fathers heart and Hamnett Wealth Management, and to everyone who donated!
