UK Athletics Success for Erin

Young Hallamshire Harriers athlete Erin Lobley in Year 8 has achieved huge success, now holding the UK record for Pentathlon U13 Girls, and surpassing international greats Morgan Lake and role-model Jessica Ennis- Hill's records at the same age.

Earlier this year Erin said: “When Jess won the Olympic gold that really started me off. I thought she was amazing and wanted to be just like her. I’ve always been good at sport, and enjoy it but Jess really inspired me to train hard and be the best I can.”

Not only is Erin a phenomenal multi-eventer, but she is spoilt for choice as she also excels in numerous individual events as a competitor, currently ranking number 1 for U13 Shot and U13 High Jump and pentathlon, number 2 for U13 Long jump, number 5 for Hurdles and number 6 for Javelin, despite taking time out in the summer for injury. Congratulations Erin!
