Year 8 Olivia Dancing on Ice!
Year 8 ice dancer Olivia Jenkinson competed in the Telford Solo Dance Competition in January. This was a qualifying round for the British championships. Olivia won the European waltz and 22 step pattern dance giving her an overall first place for the mornings competition and achieved second place in the free skating. This success means that Olivia is now ranked first in the country in her age range.
Olivia is currently working on the NISA levels scheme (National Ice Skating Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland). This is the start of the season, so lots more hard work is required to keep this position, but Olivia is determined to succeed!
