five go to oxbridge!

Congratulations go to our five Oxbridge candidates in our Sixth Form who have been offered places in their chosen subjects following interviews last month.

The girls all said they felt well-prepared for the interviews, thanks to the support of Dr McGregor-Jones, our Oxbridge Coordinator and Mrs Hall, the Head of Careers. This included a Saturday morning Interview Workshop in November, with a range of guest professionals from, amongst others, medical, legal, creative, arts, and IT sectors. We are delighted that their diligence and commitment has paid off and they have been made offers.

The successful students are Issy Douglas (Earth Sciences, St Anne’s College, Oxford); Yfke Van der Heijden (Classics, Girton, Cambridge); Lucy Bland (Medicine, University College, Oxford); Vikki Lindley (Theology & Religious Studies, Sydney Sussex, Cambridge) and Hannah Martin (History & Modern Languages, Clare College, Cambridge);
