    As we watch politicians battle it out in debates in the lead up to the election, a little closer to home, Year 13 pupils are helping Year 5 pupils perfect their debating skills as part of our nationally recognised outreach programme.

  3. A Wednesday afternoon in Wakefield - GCSE Art Students visit the Hepworth Gallery.

    Eight Year 11s and two Year 10 Art students attended 'Articulate' this week with our Head of Art, Mrs Andrews. The day was led by Professor Abigail Harrison Moore, Head of the School of Fine Art and Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds.

  4. An Italian half-term adventure full of culture, stunning views, and the best gelato

    A group of our Classics students from Years 10-13, accompanied by Mrs Fforde, Mrs Downes, and Mrs Rogers, spent their October half-term exploring the beautiful ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum.     A group of budding hockey players from Year 6 and 7, along with our friends at Nottingham Girls’ High School, recently embarked on a sporting adventure to the Netherlands.

    Struggling with tech? Our Google Certified Digital Leaders are on hand to troubleshoot! The IT-savvy team at Sheffield Girls’ consists of pupils aged 7 to 16 and was developed for those who had a particular interest in technology.

    On Monday 7th October, Year 7, along with a team of form tutors and staff, embarked on a two-day adventure to the Hollowford Centre near Castleton.

  10. The English Touring Opera perform Laika the Spacedog in National Space Week

    The English Touring Opera is nationally renowned for their entertaining and informative performances. We were delighted to welcome them to Sheffield Girls’ during National Space Week to deliver their opera ‘Laika the Spacedog’, introducing our Year 4, 5, and 6 girls to the 1960s space race through song.
