1. Geology on planets somewhere far, far away: National Schools Geology Challenge Finals

    A team of Year 12 Geologists dug deep to compete against ten other teams of students from across the UK at the National Schools Geology Challenge Finals in London, presenting their space-themed topic of ‘Diamonds on Gas Giants’ on March 28th.

  2. Pawsitively great work from Geomuttric

    One of the Year 9 BiG Challenge 12 teams ‘Geomuttric’ is leading the pack for this year’s competition, being awarded second place overall with the bonus prize of Best Use of Digital Resource at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria on March 21st.

    We joined together with Arbourthorne Community Primary School for a day out in London, expanding their horizons by exploring the wealth of culture, history and knowledge relating to the subject of Classics that our capital has to offer.

    In February, the Young Professionals’ Challenge saw Sixth Form pupils working with international professional services and accounting firm Grant Thornton over a period of three days, networking on the front lines of their prestigious #VibrantSheffield Live! event.

    On March 18 nine girls had a chance to go behind the gavel at the sixth biggest international law firm in the world, CMS, as they continue to progress through this year’s Young Professional’s Challenge.
